BEAC Events are geared towards all who participate in the architecture, design, landscape, and planning industry. From emerging designers to longtime leaders, our range of events is for all. These events include Talks which are roundtable discussions and qualify for one AAA Structured Learning Hour, Dinners where 10–15 attendees gather with an esteemed guest, Mixes, which serve as a platform to develop relationships across Calgary’s design community, an annual Mentorship event for students and recent graduates, and more.

Your registration helps BEAC continue its mission to support equity, diversity, and inclusion in architecture through mentorship, advocacy, and professional development. We welcome students, emerging professionals, and practitioners who want to build a more inclusive architectural community in Calgary.
The price of $75/person includes a two-course meal. Drinks purchased separately.
BEAC events cater to women at different stages of their careers, spanning from students and recent graduates to those in intermediate and mid-career stages, as well as more established architects. This approach offers a valuable opportunity for networking and mutual learning, fostering a supportive environment where participants can collaborate and contribute to each other’s professional growth. BEAC events are open to all, and importantly, most events are free of charge, offering increased accessibility to participants.
