BEAC Mixes are a platform to develop relationships across Calgary’s architecture and design communities by setting up opportunities for networking. Each Mix features local leaders in related professions such as construction, accounting, engineering, and academia. Participants have the opportunity to interact with the featured guests and peers in smaller focused groups. Mixes have provided opportunities to discuss overlooked topics in our profession, such as returning to work after parental leave, parental policies in offices, and the financial, social, and cultural dynamics of balancing family and career.
